Privacy policy

Who we are

Capital Facile is a name used by 9576-7406 Québec Inc., a business based in La Prairie, Québec. In this policy, “we” means Capital Facile (9576-7406 Québec Inc.).

We are a commercial-financing intermediary. We are not a lender. We prepare your file and, with your permission, present it to commercial lenders. They are the ones who accept or decline an application.

This policy says what the capitalfacile.ca site collects, why, who receives it and what you can do. It describes what the site does today. To write to us: info@capitalfacile.ca.

Privacy officer

As the law provides, the person in charge of the protection of personal information is the person with the highest authority in our company.

For a question, a request or a complaint about your personal information, write to that person at info@capitalfacile.ca. Put “Personal information” in the subject line.

What we collect

Before your contact details. You choose an amount, then answer two questions: how long the business has been operating, and how much comes into its account each month (in ranges). These answers stay on your device until you give us your contact details.

Your contact details. First name, last name, email, cell number, business name and legal form (incorporated, sole proprietorship or partnership). When you continue or ask for a call back, the site sends them to us with: your amount and your two answers; the boxes you ticked, the lenders you excluded and the time of your choices; a random file number created in your browser; the site language; the time of sending; the page address; your choice about advertising measurement cookies; and, if any, the parameters of the link that brought you here (“utm” campaign tags, product, language). Google or Meta ad click identifiers are included only if you chose “Accept” for those cookies.

Your statements. You can send one to six files of business bank statements, as PDF, JPG or PNG (20 MB at most per file). As soon as you choose a file, it is uploaded to our storage space, even before you press “Send my statements”. A statement contains what your financial institution prints on it: account holder name, account number, balances and transactions. We also receive each file’s name, its size and the months its name indicates. If you wish, you can add your industry, the planned use of the financing, an estimate of your credit score, your follow-up language and a note for the lender (280 characters at most). These details are optional.

What we do not collect. We never ask for your banking credentials. A direct connection to a bank account is not offered for now. No credit check is made during your application on our site. Two more points: as with any website, our host receives technical data when a page loads or a form is sent (IP address, browser type, page requested); and if you write to us by email, we receive your message and your address.

Why

We use your information to answer you and call you back, to assess your application and to prepare your file. The legal form of the business helps us check which offers may suit it.

Only if you authorized it, we present your file, with your statements and your optional details, to the commercial lenders on our list so they can assess it and, if they choose, make you an offer.

If you tick the optional box, we use your email and cell number to send you emails and texts about our financing products. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Campaign parameters tell us which ad or link brings applications; they are meant for our internal use. We do not use your information for other purposes without your consent, except where the law provides for it.

Your consents

At the contact step, each authorization has its own box. No box is ticked in advance. With your application, we receive the version number of the authorization text and the time of your choices.

Two boxes are needed to continue to your statements. One authorizes us to share your application, your information and your business’s bank statements and bank data with the commercial lenders on the list published at capitalfacile.ca/en/lenders, including lenders located elsewhere in Canada. It covers every lender on the list except those you exclude. The other confirms that your information is accurate and that you have the authority to apply on the business’s behalf.

One box is optional: receiving our emails and texts about our financing products. Depending on the site’s settings, another optional box may appear: it authorizes the lenders that receive your file to consult your credit file. If you only ask for a call back, the sharing authorization is not required: we then present your file to no lender before you give it to us.

Advertising measurement cookies are a separate choice, “Decline” or “Accept” (see “Cookies and measurement”). You can withdraw a consent at any time by writing to info@capitalfacile.ca. Withdrawal applies from then on: what has already been sent to a lender is handled under that lender’s policy.

Analysis of your transactions and decisions

A simple automatic calculation starts from your answers: amount, time in business, monthly deposit range. It does two things. On the site, it steers the next step: if a usual minimum criterion of lenders does not seem to be met, the site first offers you a call back instead of sending statements. For our team, our server redoes the calculation and shows an indicative range, or the criterion that does not seem to be met, and the types of financing that may match your answers. This calculation refuses no application.

No software on our site reads the content of your statements; our server only checks each file’s type. The statements are handed to our team and a person reads them, to measure the business’s revenue and financial situation. Under the law, this is profiling: the analysis is used to assess an economic situation, that of the business and, for a sole proprietorship, yours.

On our side, no decision is made solely by automated processing. We make no credit decision: each lender decides under its own criteria and may use its own tools. You can ask us which information was used to assess your application, have it corrected and present your observations to a person on our team.

Who receives your information

Our team. Your application reaches us by email, in the company mailbox. Our site keeps no database of applications. If that email cannot be sent, a copy of your application is kept in our storage space, at Vercel, until our team handles it.

Our service providers, which handle your information on our behalf: Vercel, for hosting the site, running its functions and temporarily storing statements; Resend, for delivering the email that brings us your application and your statements; and the provider of our mailbox.

The commercial lenders on the list published at capitalfacile.ca/en/lenders, only if you authorized it, and never those you excluded. For now, that list shows categories of lenders rather than names. Each lender handles your information under its own privacy policy. A lender may check your credit file before making you an offer, only with your permission.

Google and Meta, only if you accept advertising measurement cookies. We send them nothing you entered in your application, only the step signals described below; their tags also receive technical data. We may also have to disclose information when the law requires it.

Outside Québec

Your information may be processed or stored outside Québec.

Vercel and Resend are companies based in the United States. We have set our site’s functions to run in Vercel’s Montréal region. That does not mean your information stays in Québec: these providers, like the provider of our mailbox, may process or store it elsewhere, including in the United States, where local laws apply.

The lenders you authorize us to send your file to may be located elsewhere in Canada. If you accept advertising measurement cookies, Google and Meta, two American companies, process technical data outside Québec.

Retention periods

Your application and your statements are kept in our mailbox. We keep them only as long as needed to handle your application and meet our legal obligations. Then we destroy them.

Your statements pass through a storage space at Vercel. When you send them and Resend takes charge of the email that brings them to us, our server at once asks for their deletion from that space. Resend may keep a copy of the email it delivers, under its own rules.

There are exceptions. If your files exceed 25 MB in total, they are not attached to the email: they stay in that space, our team receives a link to download them and must then delete them itself. If you choose files without finishing the send, if you remove a file already uploaded, if the send fails or if the deletion fails, they also stay there until our team deletes them. If the email that brings us your application cannot be sent, a copy of its text (your contact details, your answers and your choices) is kept in that same space until our team handles it and deletes it. There is no automatic deletion in these cases.

On your device: the draft of your application (your answers, your contact details and your choices) is kept 30 days after you last opened or changed the application, then erased when you come back to the home page or the application; it is erased right away when your statements are sent. Your cookie choice is kept 13 months. The rest lasts only as long as the tab.

Security

Our forms refuse submissions launched from another website. After the contact step, your browser receives a signed token, valid 7 days and tied to your file; this token is needed to add files to it.

For statements, we take only PDF, JPG and PNG files of 20 MB or less, and our server checks that each file really is one of these types before attaching it to the email. In the storage space, each file carries a long random name, never the name you gave it. That long random address is the file’s only protection while it is there.

We limit what is kept. The site has no database of applications. Your browser does not keep your statements. The logs our code writes contain no name, email, phone number or amount; our host keeps its own technical logs.

No system is safe from every risk. If an incident affects your information and presents a risk of serious injury, we notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information, as the law requires.

Cookies and measurement

Before your choice, no advertising tag is loaded. The banner offers two equal buttons, “Decline” and “Accept”, with nothing preselected. If you decline, nothing is loaded. If you accept, the site loads the Google tag and the Meta pixel, which are used to measure our advertising; our code then tells Google that you consent to advertising storage, measurement and ad personalization. These tags then work under our account settings: they may set their own cookies and receive technical data (IP address, page address, advertising identifier), which Google and Meta handle under their own policies.

Our code signals only steps to these tags, with no detail: never an amount, an answer, a name or financial data. To Google and Meta: the opening questions are done and you move on to the contact step; your contact details are saved (not for a simple call-back request); your statements are sent. If you accept after one of these steps, in the same tab, its signal goes out at that moment. To Google only, and only if you had already said yes: you started scrolling the home page; the amount picker came into view there; you confirmed your amount to continue.

Our own code sets no cookie. It uses your browser’s storage. Two items last beyond the tab: the draft of your application (30 days) and your cookie choice (13 months). The others disappear when the tab closes: the campaign parameters and click identifiers of the link that brought you here (noted on arrival; click identifiers are sent to us only if you accept the cookies), the signed token of your file, the time and state of the confirmation (no amount), the names of the files sent, the names of the measurement signals waiting for your choice, and a few small technical markers.

To change your mind, use the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page. If you decline after having said yes, our code stops sending these signals. Tags already loaded stay in the page until you close or reload it, and are not loaded again after that; cookies already set by Google or Meta stay in your browser until you erase them in its settings. The “Ask a question” line on the home page works entirely on your device: your question is neither stored nor sent.

Your rights

You can find out whether we hold information about you and have a copy of it. You can have inaccurate, incomplete or equivocal information corrected. You can withdraw a consent.

You can ask for the computerized information you gave us in a structured, commonly used technological format, or ask that it be sent to a person or organization you name. You can also ask us to stop disseminating information about you, or to have a link de-indexed, in the cases the law provides for; we publish no personal information on this site.

To exercise a right, write to info@capitalfacile.ca. We must make sure of your identity before answering. We answer in writing no later than 30 days after receiving your request, as the law provides. If we refuse, we tell you why and what your recourses are.

On your device, you can act yourself: the “Clear my answers on this device” link, at the bottom of the application pages, erases your draft; the “Cookies” link, at the bottom of every page, changes your choice.

Complaints

For a complaint about how we handle your information, write first to the person in charge, at info@capitalfacile.ca. Tell us what happened and what you expect from us.

The person in charge reviews your complaint and answers you in writing.

If the answer does not satisfy you, or if we do not answer an access or correction request within the time the law sets, you can turn to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec: cai.gouv.qc.ca.

Governance

In our company, the person with the highest authority is in charge of the protection of personal information: that person sees that this policy is applied and answers requests and complaints.

Our rules are simple. We ask only for what is needed to handle a financing application. We present a file only to the lenders you authorized. We destroy information when it is no longer needed.

The site functions used for advertising measurement are off by default; they turn on only if you say yes. The direct connection to a bank account is not turned on. If we turn it on or add a service provider, we will update this policy first.

Version

This policy has been in effect since October 1, 2026.

It describes what the site does on that date. If our practices change, we update this page and change its date. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we ask for your agreement where the law requires it.

The authorization text of the application carries its own version number, which we receive with your choices.
